Description of the service
PorchPrompt is a review-automation tool for home service businesses. It lets a business track customers and jobs, and automatically sends a text message asking a customer to leave a Google review a set number of minutes after a job is marked complete.
Account responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter into PorchPrompt, including your business details and the phone numbers of the customers you add. You are responsible for confirming that each customer has agreed to receive text messages before you add their phone number to your account. You are also responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Subscription and billing
PorchPrompt is billed as a monthly subscription, processed through Stripe. New accounts begin with a 14-day free trial; no payment is required to start the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription converts automatically to a paid monthly plan, and you will be billed each month until you cancel. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Acceptable use
You may not use PorchPrompt to send messages to anyone who has not consented to receive them, to send messages unrelated to a completed job and its review request, or to send spam, unlawful, deceptive, or abusive content of any kind. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates this policy or that we reasonably believe is generating an unacceptable volume of complaints or opt-outs.
SMS Terms
PorchPrompt sends automated SMS review request messages to customers of businesses that use our service. Messages are sent after a job is marked complete and contain a direct link to leave a Google review. Message frequency varies; you should not expect more than one message per completed job. Limitation of liability
PorchPrompt is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including messages that are delayed, undelivered, or sent in error. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Termination
You may cancel your subscription and stop using PorchPrompt at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, including the acceptable use section above. Upon termination, we will stop sending messages on your behalf; your data will be retained and handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
