How customers agree to receive review texts

Who sends these texts

Local home service businesses use PorchPrompt to send one text asking a customer to review a completed job. Each text identifies PorchPrompt and the business that did the work.

How customers opt in

When a business collects a customer's mobile number, in person at the job site or by phone, a staff member reads the customer the disclosure below and asks if they agree. Consent is optional. Customers who decline still receive full service. Only if the customer says yes does the staff member check the SMS consent box in the PorchPrompt app. That box is unchecked by default, and PorchPrompt will not text any number without it.
